Ladies and Gentlemen,

Good morning! As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to express my gratitude for the collaborative spirit and dedication you all bring to supporting NAVSAFENVTRACEN's mission. In this bi-weekly update, I’d like to provide information on active and upcoming NAVSAFENVTRACEN taskers:

Needs Assessment Taskers: To develop the FY26 course schedule, NAVSAFENVTRACEN has initiated two needs assessment taskers. These taskers aim to capture training quota requirements to support the Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) and Environmental (ENV) communities. Responses to these taskers help us allocate resources strategically and do not guarantee quotas. All quotas must be reserved via eNTRS. Both taskers utilize a three-tab template (templates attached for both EEM and SOH) to standardize submissions:

  • Tab 1 (Command Info): Provide command name and a POC for follow-up questions.
  • Tab 2 (Resident Courses): Indicate the number of quotas needed per location and course. If additional locations are required, add them to rows 115–118.
  • Tab 3 (Global Online): Provide the number of quotas needed by time zone for online courses.

SOH Needs Assessment (DON-241031-W6HJ): This tasker collects FY26 SOH quota data from subordinate commands. Echelon II commands must consolidate responses and submit them by 28 Feb 2025.

EEM Needs Assessment (DON-241118-N2DJ): This tasker supports the Navy Environmental Readiness Training Program (NERPT) Steering Committee by collecting FY26 EEM quota needs. Echelon II commands must consolidate responses and submit them by 28 Feb 2025.

Training Requirements Review Tasker: NAVSAFENVTRACEN will be requesting via DON Tasker, stakeholder participation in a curriculum review of the Introduction to Naval Safety and Occupational Health (CIN: A-493-0550) course. A curriculum review ensures training objectives and materials meet fleet needs and align with updated requirements. NAVSAFENVTRACEN requests Echelon II representatives to nominate at least one Safety Professional SME to participate in reviewing course materials for accuracy and relevance.

Reminders:

  • All quotas must be reserved via eNTRS. https://app.prod.cetars.training.navy.mil/eNTRS/
  • To request a quota, log into eNTRS> Request Menu> enter course CDP> update the dates> submit> check the course date> enter the students DOD ID> submit> add student info> double check email is correct> select process request.
  • Live Session Start Time: Are you located on the east coast and enrolled in a course with a start time focused on our team in Japan? Not sure? Now is your time to check out our website to ensure you enrolled in a course that works best with your time zone. Canceling your course after the instructor sends the course welcome email will land your name on our no-show list.

Thank you all for your feedback on our bi-weekly updates. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.
