Mission
Operational and Off-Duty Risk management is, in reality, a tool for making smart decisions, used by people at all levels. Each person has a role to play in managing risk for the unit and each role is vital to success.
The Expeditionary Warfare Directorate provides subject matter expertise and guidance across the spectrum of, naval special warfare, explosive ordnance disposal, parachute, diving, construction, coastal warfare and patrol, coastal riverine warfare, maritime and port security, and logistics support operations. Fleet outreach centers on a comprehensive expeditionary operational safety assessments for NECC and NSW units through the observation of day-to-day operations and training exercises to identify how risk is mitigated, transferred or assumed.
