Safety Command Presentations

The fall and winter seasons bring their own unique safety hazards. Driving can become more dangerous with shorter days, wet leaves, rain, snow, and icy conditions. Other seasonal activities that carry increased risk during the fall and winter months include bonfires, icy walkways, holiday decorating, winter sports and ladder use for cleaning gutters or hanging lights. Naval Safety Command has resources to help you stay safe during the fall and winter. We encourage Sailors, Marines and civilians to be vigilant and maintain their situational awareness by identifying risks early, understanding behaviors that contribute to mishaps and reinforcing safe practices on and off duty. Explore the presentations below for more information and check back throughout the seasons for additional products and resources as they are released.
